'ADIDAS PEAR MILL' PRINT
Pear Mill also known locally as the 'adidas factory', has been an institution in Stockport since the late 1980's. I even worked there at one point. The factory shop is the outlet (which coincides with their UK HQ in Hazel Grove) a place where you could pick up the latest trainers and football shirts at cut-price. Around 1991, I can remember my friends getting all these 'Torsion' models in crazy bright colours, they got me a Green Liverpool 'Candy' shirt and throughout school we were never short of random adidas equipment European football shirts to wear during P.E. You could only get in with a Wonka style ticket which made it even more exciting.
Harking back to the early 1990's, designed by Peter O'Toole we pay tribute to a (sadly) fictional trainer where adidas finally acknowledge their adopted home town. The 'Pear Mill' running shoe, just like those old 90's ZX Torsion models.
Available on an A3 print, limited numbers produced as always.
