2020 has been a funny old year eh? In the midst of a global pandemic and enforced government lockdown, we then ended up with lots of horrible, unwelcome racial tension the world over.

Growing up listening to my Mother's Motown, my Dad's hip hop tapes, cheering goals scored by Kevin Francis and Ian Wright, laughing at Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy. Tyson and Bruno on late night telly, lusting over old Pam Grier movies.
You get the picture? It's hard to imagine a life not influenced or sound-tracked by some sort of black or mixed cultures along the way, it's how it should be, it's the norm. You should be shocked at the continuous, institutional racism from those who are supposed to protect us.
We're not here to debate who's lives matter, in fact that's what made us do this. It's pathetic that we're even arguing about that in 2020, it wasn't right in 1920. We're in this together. Unity is powerful.

This design is simply a show of strength, power, unity and most importantly solidarity. If we can make a tiny bit of difference and raise awareness through the brand then we will do. Profits from this sale will go to a relevant, appropriate local charity once all sold.

Available on a tagless heavyweight Black tee, professionally screenprinted in the North West.
